I grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University. I then spent 3 years in the United States Army, including a one year tour in Vietnam.
Inspired by the Beach Boys and visions of warm weather, blue-eyed blondes and opportunity for everyone, I moved to California where I began a 30 year career in the life insurance industry. Eventually, restructuring and downsizing led to my first extended vacation – 8 months of fun and reflection. I decided to start my own business, and after flirting with flipping homes – unsuccessfully – in 2008 I discovered the note business. And this is where I have been ever since, trying to educate people on structuring sound notes and helping them get the cash they want or need for their next investment or project.
Life is more than business. I love working out, playing golf, biking, kayaking, playing 1 on 1 basketball with my grandson, and cooking dinner every Sunday night for my family. And, enjoying one of the many wines that my state offers.
